SIDDIQ KAMARA
FOR DELAWARE COUNTY SHERiff
This decision is deeply personal. In 2021, Siddiq’s eight-year-old cousin, Fanta, lost her life due to the actions of improperly trained law enforcement officers—an unimaginable tragedy that has left a lasting impact on Siddiq and his family.
As a former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, a former Police Officer, and a Special Agent with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, Siddiq has gained a clear understanding of the challenges and potential within law enforcement. Through these roles, Siddiq has seen firsthand the positive impact that trust, transparency, and community-centered approaches can have on public safety and community relationships. These values will be the cornerstone of his service as Sheriff.
